The differences between basic and urgent care

While looking at basic and urgent care in Culver City, there are many differences between the two. Basic care is generally the regular healthcare that is offered by the physician. Urgent care is the type of medical care that someone looks for when they have injuries or ailments that are not severe enough for taking you to the emergency room.

Basic Care

•    Basic care usually refers to a physician’s clinic and they have fixed hours and don’t work over the weekends.
•    Most of the clinics of the physicians have set appointments and if a person needs to be seen, they have to wait until an open appointment is available or they might be squeezed into an already hectic schedule and have to wait for a long period before they can be seen.

Urgent Care

•    One of the main differences between the two is that urgent care Venice has “after hours” and frequently works on weekends. They are usually not open 24 hours a day.
•    If a person becomes sick or injured, their basic care physician cannot see them that day or else they have to wait to be seen. With Urgent Care Playa Vista, you can walk in and be seen instantly without any appointment.
•    The main disadvantage of this type of medical amenity is that they will generally charge more for their services.
•    Even if the patient has insurance, they might have to pay double than what they generally pay as the amenity offers a specialized service.
•    In urgent care Culver City, the physicians working here are usually considered family doctors and don’t specialize in any specific area.
